Terms of Service
Last updated 18 September 2026
These terms govern your use of AirFit. By creating an account you agree to them. If you're accepting on behalf of a gym, you confirm you're authorized to bind that organization. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of these terms.
The service
AirFit is three related things. For trainers and gyms, it is software to build and deliver workout programs, meal plans, daily protocols and nutrition notes, demo videos and session scheduling to their clients, and to sell session packages and coaching subscriptions to them. For clients, it is the app their trainer or gym gives them, which is always free to the client. For adults training on their own, it is AirFit Coach, an automated coaching subscription sold by AirFit and described in its own section below.
Accounts
- You must be at least 16 to hold an account.
- You must be at least 18 to subscribe to a paid plan, to buy anything from a trainer through AirFit, or to use AirFit Coach.
- You're responsible for your credentials and for everything done under your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep your email address current — we use it for security and billing notices.
Not medical advice
AirFit does not provide medical, health or fitness advice. Content in the app — including the exercise library, its instructions and any demo videos — is general information supplied as-is. Programs and meal plans assigned by a trainer are authored by that trainer, not by us, including anything the trainer drafted with AI and chose to publish; trainers are solely responsible for the safety and suitability of what they prescribe, and for holding whatever qualifications and insurance their jurisdiction requires. Programs and meal plans from AirFit Coach are generated automatically within the limits described below and are not reviewed by a professional. In every case, consult a physician before starting an exercise or nutrition program, and stop and seek qualified help if you experience pain, injury or symptoms.
Meal plans are general nutrition guidance, not medical advice or medical nutrition therapy — whether a trainer built the plan, drafted it with our AI meal planner, or AirFit Coach generated it for you. Calorie and macronutrient targets are estimates from a standard formula applied to what you tell us, and a trainer may adjust them. Food and nutrient data comes from USDA FoodData Central and is provided as-is. Allergen and dietary flags are derived from that data and may be incomplete: if you have an allergy or intolerance, always check labels and ingredients yourself, because we cannot guarantee that any food in a plan is free of an allergen. If you have a medical condition or take medication, check with your clinician before changing how you eat.
Daily protocols are general wellness guidance — habits to try. They are not medical advice, not treatment for any condition, and not a substitute for care you are already receiving. A protocol is generated by software using a large language model from the questionnaire you complete, and you approve it before it becomes yours. Health-screening answers change what we suggest and how gently we suggest it; they are not a clinical assessment, and nothing in a protocol is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything. Stop anything that hurts or does not feel right, and if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or recently gave birth, are under care for your mental health, or have a diagnosed sleep condition, follow your clinician's advice over anything a protocol says.
AirFit Coach
AirFit Coach builds a training program from the profile you give it and the workouts you log — and, if you complete the nutrition questionnaire and it finds you eligible, a meal plan from that questionnaire; if you complete the protocol questionnaire, a daily protocol from that one. It checks in with you weekly, proposes revisions, and answers questions in a conversation. Its output is produced by software using a large language model. It is not medical care, physical therapy, nutrition therapy, or emergency support, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional.
To use AirFit Coach you confirm that you:
- are 18 or older;
- can exercise independently without medical supervision, and will consult a physician first if you have any doubt;
- will stop exercising and seek qualified help if pain, injury, symptoms or an emergency may be involved;
- understand that AirFit Coach will not diagnose, treat or rehabilitate any injury or condition; will not provide pregnancy or postpartum programming; will not recommend medication or supplements; will not assess your technique from photos or video; and is not designed for competition preparation;
- understand that meal planning is offered only if the nutrition questionnaire finds you eligible, and that you must answer it truthfully. AirFit Coach will not plan meals for anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, has a history of an eating disorder, has diabetes treated with insulin, kidney disease, liver disease or active cancer treatment, has had bariatric surgery in the last twelve months, or needs a therapeutic diet for any other condition — those situations call for a registered dietitian or your clinician.
You are responsible for deciding whether to follow any program or suggestion, for exercising with appropriate equipment and technique, and for the accuracy of what you tell AirFit Coach about yourself. Programs are checked against your stated equipment, experience and session length, but AirFit Coach can still be wrong. Meal plans are fitted to targets our software computes and checked against your stated allergies and restrictions, but a plan can still be wrong or unsuitable for you. Your active program, meal plan and protocol never change without your explicit approval; a proposal you don't approve is not applied.
Usage is limited to keep the service safe and affordable — currently a daily cap on messages and weekly caps on program and meal-plan generations and revisions, shown in the app. On Coach Free, the program, the meal plan and the protocol can each be rebuilt once every 56 days, weekly check-ins are recorded but not reviewed, revisions on request are not available, and conversation is limited to 20 messages a calendar month. Our safety checks may decline a request or direct you to appropriate help instead of answering. We may adjust these limits, and may change, pause or withdraw AirFit Coach; if we withdraw it, your programs and workout history remain readable in your account and any prepaid time is refunded or honored.
You can ask to be matched with a human trainer at any time. Nothing about you is shared with a trainer until you choose one and approve the summary of what will be shared. Once a trainer assigns you a program, AirFit Coach becomes read-only and any paid AirFit Coach subscription is scheduled to end at the close of the current billing period; any arrangement with that trainer is between you and them (see "Purchases from trainers").
Plans and payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store card details. Prices are in US dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes. Current prices are on the pricing page; we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to an existing subscription.
- Trainer and gym plans. The Free tier is free, with no card and no end date; its limits (for example 5 active clients for a trainer, and 3 trainer seats for a gym) are stated on the pricing page. A new trainer account gets 30 days of the Pro plan and a new gym gets 30 days of the Gym plan, without a card; when a trial ends nothing is charged and the account continues on the Free tier. Paid tiers are billed in advance, monthly or yearly as you choose (gym plans monthly), and renew automatically until canceled. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. Nothing you've created is deleted when a trial ends or when you move to a lower tier — limits only apply to adding more. If you joined during early access, we'll give you reasonable notice before any charge applies to your account.
- AirFit Coach. Coach Free is free, with no card and no end date, within the scope described under "AirFit Coach" above. The paid AirFit Coach plan is $19 per month, billed monthly. New paid subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial; a payment method is collected at checkout and the first charge is made when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. The subscription renews monthly until canceled. Cancel at any time through the billing portal in the app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for, after which you continue on Coach Free and your programs, meal plans, protocols and workout history stay readable. If a payment fails, AirFit Coach becomes read-only until it's resolved.
- Refunds. Except where the law requires otherwise or this document says so, fees are non-refundable and we don't prorate partial periods.
Purchases from trainers
Trainers and gyms can sell session packages and coaching subscriptions to their clients through AirFit. In those transactions the trainer or gym is the seller and merchant of record, paid through their own Stripe account; AirFit provides the checkout and record-keeping and is not a party to the sale. The trainer's own terms, refund policy and service obligations apply, and questions or disputes about a purchase should go to the trainer first. We may help with the records but can't refund on a trainer's behalf.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you create — programs, plans, custom exercises, logos, files, and what you write to AirFit Coach. You grant us only the license needed to host, back up, process and display that content to the people you share it with and, for AirFit Coach, to generate your programs and responses. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use AirFit for anything unlawful, or to harass or endanger anyone.
- Attempt to access data belonging to another gym, trainer or client.
- Probe, scrape or overload the service, or circumvent its security, usage limits or safety checks.
- Resell or white-label AirFit as your own product.
- Use AirFit Coach on behalf of, or share its output with, anyone who is not an eligible adult account holder.
Availability
We work to keep AirFit available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features. For anything that materially reduces what you rely on, we'll give notice where we reasonably can.
Termination
You may stop using AirFit and delete your account at any time from the app; deleting your account cancels any AirFit Coach subscription. If your account owns trainer or gym data, or has an active paid relationship with a human trainer, we'll ask you to resolve that first so clients and records aren't stranded. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, or that put other users or the service at risk; if we terminate a paid subscription for a reason other than your breach, we'll refund any prepaid, unused time.
Disclaimers and liability
AirFit is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Exercise carries inherent risk, and you accept that risk when you follow any program or advice delivered through AirFit, whether it comes from a trainer or from AirFit Coach. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, goodwill or data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Changes
We'll update this page when these terms change and adjust the date at the top. Continuing to use AirFit after a change means you accept it. For material changes affecting a paid subscription, we'll email you before they take effect.
